What was the event?

The All New Nissan Micra Launch to the UK Dealer Network at the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC), Coventry.

We were asked to create an engaging launch event for the All New Nissan Micra, in keeping with the Nissan look and feel, but supporting the new dynamic look of the modern Micra. The main audience included Dealer Principals and Sales Managers from within the Nissan Dealer Network.

The event was held over the course of five days, allowing guests to attend on a day that suited their schedule. We provided full event support in the lead up to and during the event, taking care of the guest list, travel and accommodation requirements, as well as managing all other aspects of the event production and organisation.

A dedicated online portal was created to manage guest’s attendance and requirements; followed up by electronic joining instructions designed specifically for each guest. All electronic and printed collateral was created by our in-house design team and carried the event branding. A dedicated call centre team were available 7 days a week to deal with attendee queries and requests.

VIP guests only were invited for the first day of the launch event, and were provided with lunch upon arrival before a business update from the Managing Director. This was followed by an afternoon of open breakout sessions, including a ride and drive, which guests were able to take part in at a time that suited them. VIP guests departed at leisure to their nearby accommodation whilst the venue was transformed to accommodate an evening gala dinner and drinks reception. Guests returned to the Manufacturing Technology Centre via coach where they were welcomed with a drinks reception and a surprise performance from a group of free-runners acrobatically dancing around some display vehicles. Guests were transferred back to their overnight accommodation after an evening of fine food, wine and some mesmerising iPad magic.

The remainder of the event was attended by Dealer Principals and Sales Managers from within the Nissan Dealer Network who were invited to take part in various breakout sessions including a ride and drive.
